BEGINNERS GROUP PUPPY CLASSES

Nikki was a superb teacher and had been recommended to me by a friend after my puppy was becoming quite unruly. Even before I'd signed up for the class Nikki had contacted me via text and email to offer advice. The classes did not disappoint, small group teaching with plenty of one on one time with Nikki, everything was fully explained and training was virtually tailor made for each dogs requirements. Enjoyed it so much we ( and by me I mean my whole family, husband and kids also attended!) are now doing the advanced class. The James Family inc. Rudy P.

This class is the best investment we made in our new pup and I am still delighted whenever I think about how lucky we were to come across Nikki on google. Nikki taught us the principles and practice of successful dog training, explaining how incentives reinforce positive behaviours and how other seemingly-natural human reactions can actually encourage doggy behaviours we don't want – especially how attention of any kind (good or bad) is a form of reward for a pup! We came in the door with anxiety and nerves about doing the wrong things with Freddie. When we cringed at our pup’s ‘naughty’ behaviour in class, she reassured us, making it clear that we hadn’t failed him, and shared techniques we could use to get the results we want. If we repeatedly did them, we’d see progress. We followed what she said, and she was absolutely right. Honestly, just being taught these principles and techniques already make this class worth the price. But learning with Nikki came with other benefits that we have found very, very useful. The second was simple: Nikki and Wimbledon Superdogs are a portal into the dog community! She is incredibly well connected with dog walkers, dog sitters, doggy daycare, and all of the social infrastructure that a dog owner needs to live a balanced life. Plus she knows about dog nutrition and psychology – good for a fussy eater, like ours was before we followed her food advice. With no financial incentive (class ended months ago) she has shared information on good treats, dog accessories, reputable and responsible daycare providers – all of it! We even got an information pack at the end to refer to. A service that goes well beyond what we felt we paid for. The final benefit is less tangible: Nikki helped us discover the joy of dog ownership. She clearly loves dogs and through her excitement, and the good vibes of the class, we learned the same mindset. Owning a dog is a responsibility but also a privilege and pleasure. Nikki understands this balance and we’re very grateful that she helped us understand it too. We’re booked onto the advanced class now and looking forward to taking Freddie’s training up another level.

The training really helped us with our new puppy and also with his socialisation with other dogs. It was good to get a sense of where similar pups were in their training. Plus it’s a lot of fun! Lots of information to take away and work on outside of class, and Nikki is excellent with wider advice. Thanks so much!

Thoroughly enjoyed our classes, Nikki was absolutely fantastic at teaching simple but effective techniques to train your puppy key skills. It was great for our puppy to socialise with other dogs, and us to socialise with other owners. She also offered great advice on other challenges with raising a puppy. I would highly recommend Superdog puppy training and we plan to do the advanced class. Thank you Nikki!

I can’t recommend the class highly enough. Nikki really is a dog whisperer!! The classes are fun and informative and Nikki is always available during the week for tips and advice and reassurance

Experience was great and has set us up for having a happy puppy and not being so daunted as first time puppy owners. Nikki was brilliant and the classes were very enjoyable. She takes time to get to know everyone and no question seems too silly! Would highly recommend.
